Interactive Chinese Characters Project as a New Learning Method

Collaborating with the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the local new media artist Hung Keung conducts a creative workshop introducing techniques for using traditional art mediums, such as ink, brush and rice paper, with a modern reinterpretation. The programme allows participants to gain a new insight into Chinese calligraphy in the digital world. The calligraphy works created in this workshop are digitised and featured on a giant screen for sharing.

香港藝術館與新媒體藝術家洪強攜手舉辦一個創意與實驗並重的工作坊，帶領參加者由傳統媒介 — 墨汁、毛筆和宣紙出發，從另一角度走進現代的數碼世界，重新詮釋傳統中國書法的奧妙。工作坊的書法作品會經過實時數碼化程序處理，在現場的螢幕重新展示與公衆分享。
